Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Giveio (“Giveio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and share information. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you visit or interact with https://www.giveio.org (the “Site”) or use our services.

We may collect personal and non-personal information, including but not limited to:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization details, and other contact information
- Information submitted through forms, applications, or communications

We reserve the right to use information in aggregate or anonymized form for any purpose.

Google User Data
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Privacy Policy, our access to, use, and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The disclosures in this section govern Google user data and take precedence over the general terms above with respect to that data.
When you connect your outreach mailbox, Giveio requests the following Google (Gmail) permissions:
- Send email on your behalf (gmail.send)
- Read email (gmail.readonly)
- Your Google account email address (userinfo.email)
How we access it. We access your Google account email address to identify the connected mailbox, send donation-outreach emails from your mailbox to businesses you solicit, and read the replies to those outreach threads. We do not access unrelated messages in your inbox.
How we use it. Google user data is used solely to provide the Giveio outreach feature — sending outreach from your mailbox, detecting and classifying replies, and forwarding warm replies to your team. It is used for no other purpose.
How we share it. Reply message content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to classify replies; under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to train their models. We do not sell Google user data, share it with data brokers, or use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.
How we protect it. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and all data is transmitted over TLS. Access is restricted by authentication and role-based access control.
Retention and deletion. OAuth tokens are retained while your mailbox is connected and are deleted when you disconnect it or delete your account. You may disconnect your mailbox at any time in Giveio's settings, and you may revoke Giveio's access from your Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of your data, contact us at info@giveio.org.

By using the Site, you consent to our use of tracking technologies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may impact functionality.
Data Retention
We may retain information for as long as we determine necessary for business, legal, or operational purposes. We are not obligated to delete information upon request unless required by applicable law.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.
Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties.
Children's Information
Giveio does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we may remove it at our discretion.
